It takes a community to nurture and grow an organization. In short seven years Gharoaa, a grassroots Bengali community organization in Greater Philadelphia and Delaware Valley, has come a long way from Durga Puja with fifty people at a Firehouse to hosting more than seven hundred people this year to celebrate puja. Along with pujo, top class artists and food to rave about are the hallmarks of Gharoaa culture. All our generous donors and sponsors along with our countless volunteers has made Gharoaa successful as a premier Durga Puja in the Tristate area.
